Palace Farms Drive-in

The 2021 GFF is excited to present a nightly series of drive-in films, as hosted by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation at the Palace Farms Drive-in. Please read the following details to learn more about these unique screening opportunities, and then continue scrolling to check out the featured films!

About the Drive-in

WHERE
The drive-in will be located at 100 Visitor’s Center Drive, just across the street from the main entrance to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor’s Center. (Google Map)

WHEN
Screenings will take place nightly, March 25-28. The doors each night open at 7:15, and films start at 8:00 PM.

TICKETS
Tickets to each program are $25 per car, regardless of the number of persons within the car. Tickets must be pre-purchased online – no tickets will be sold at the door. The event will be held in rain or shine, and will only be canceled as a result of extreme weather (thunder/lightning, heavy winds). Due to the unique nature of these events, tickets to cancelled drive-in screenings cannot be refunded.

AUDIO
Audio will be transmitted via a locally-broadcast FM signal. Guests will tune their car radios to the station to hear the program audio.

PARKING
Parking will be allotted on a first-come, first-parked basis. Different rows in the drive-in will accommodate vehicles of varying sizes. Just like attending films in a regular movie theater, guests are encouraged to come early to choose their place to view the film.

FOOD & DRINK
No food and drink will be sold at the venue. Guests may bring their own food and beverage for consumption within their vehicle. Absolutely no alcohol is permitted on event grounds.

RESTROOMS
Portable toilets will be available on site.

LATE ENTRY
No late entry will be permitted to these screenings. Doors close promptly at 8:00 PM.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
All guests will be expected to adhere to the following COVID-19 protocols during the event:

• Guests must stay inside their vehicles before, during, and after the film screening, unless leaving their vehicle to use the restroom. While not in a vehicle, guests must be masked and maintain proper social distancing.

• Vehicles should only park in designated spaces, and all vehicles will be distanced from each other.

• No open-aired (convertibles, jeeps, and similar) or oversized (buses, RVs) will be allowed at the drive-in. Guests attending in pickup trucks may not utilize the bed of their truck for viewing.

• Guests must be masked for contact-less check-in at the entrance of the venue.

•If you are sick or have been recently exposed to COVID-19, do not attend these events.

•All passengers in your vehicle should be part of the same immediate quarantine circle/bubble/pod.

Any guests violating these regulations will be removed from the venue. Upon purchasing a ticket for any drive-in screening, guests must acknowledge these restrictions and agree to abide by them to attend these events.
