THE LONE BELLOW

The Lone Bellow burst onto the scene with their self-titled debut in 2013. The Brooklyn-based band quickly became known for their transcendent harmonies, serious musicianship and raucous live performance—a reputation that earned them their rabid fan base. It's been three years since the band's victorious Then Came The Morning was released. Produced by The National's Aaron Dessner, the album was nominated for an Americana Music Award.
In the years since the release, the band left their beloved adopted home of Brooklyn and moved to Nashville. Now, The Lone Bellow is back with Walk Into A Storm, which will be released Sept. 15 on Sony Music Masterworks. Walk Into A Storm was produced by legendary music producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, and more) and features their lead single "Time's Always Leaving."
The trio, featuring Zach Williams (guitar/vocals), Kanene Donehey Pipkin (multi-instrumentalist/vocals and W&M ‘07), and Brian Elmquist (guitar/vocals), will perform live.

James Murray is a writer, executive producer, and comedian, best known as "Murr" on the hit TV show Impractical Jokers on TBS. For more than a decade, Murr and his lifelong friends Sal, Joe & Q have been making audiences laugh across the country—and now he’s bringing the laughs to you! Hang out with Murr as he tells hilarious stories, answers your questions and has some surprises in store.
James is also an international bestselling author with 9 published titles from major publishing houses such as HarperCollins, St. Martin’s Press, Blackstone Publishing and Penguin Random House. His most recent novel, You Better Watch Out, written with Darren Wearmouth, is a suspenseful, serial killer thriller that leaves you wondering, is Christmas really the most wonderful time of the year?

LIKE MINDS

Like Minds is a comedy quiz show that takes the fact-filled fun of a pub quiz and combines it with the quick-witted comedy of an improv show. Host Joey Bland (W&M '00) (Improvised Shakespeare Company, Jeopardy!) takes four hilarious comedian competitors and faces them off in a head-to-head trivia match along with lots of help from the audience! It's like if Jeopardy & Taskmaster had a really smart baby. The show is produced by Greg Hess (W&M ‘03).

Thomas Middleditch is an Emmy-nominated actor, comedian, and writer, best known for his role as Richard Hendricks on the series Silicon Valley. A seasoned improviser, he co-created the Netflix special Middleditch & Schwartz with Ben Schwartz. His film credits include The Final Girls, Zombieland: Double Tap, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Most recently, Thomas made his Broadway debut in the critically acclaimed production of Eureka Day.
Asher Perlman is an Emmy-nominated, WGA award-winning, Peabody-award-winning comedian based in Brooklyn. He is currently a cartoonist for The New Yorker and a writer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. His debut book, the national bestselling Well, This Is Me, is available now wherever books are sold.
Andrea Coleman (W&M ’00) is a Brooklyn-based writer, performer and attorney, practicing law for 17 years and trying 30 jury trials. She writes sketch comedy, stand-up comedy, screenplays and stage plays. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, TimeOut NY, NPR and aired on PBS. Sara Schaefer (W&M ‘00) is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian, writer, and artist. Her Comedy Central Stand Up Presents special debuted in 2019 and she was the co-host of MTV’s late night show Nikki & Sara Live. Sara published her first book, Grand, in 2020. She has written for numerous television programs and won two Emmy awards for her work at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Hip-hop icon, DJ, and preacher Rev Run is one of the most iconic figures in music. The front man of seminal hip-hop group RUN DMC, Rev has sold tens of millions of records worldwide and is widely credited for ushering rap music into mainstream culture. An inductee of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, RUN DMC was named the greatest hip-hop artist of all-time by both MTV and VH1.
Run remains a dynamic figure in entertainment today. He is the author of several books, is an ordained minister, and a beloved TV personality. His hit MTV show, Run’s House, aired for six seasons and became one of the most widely viewed shows on cable television. Run created and starred in Rev Run’s Sunday Suppers (Food Network), Rev Runs Around the World (Travel Channel), Rev Run’s Home Renovation (HGTV), and All About the Washingtons (Netflix). Most recently, Run starred in The Hip Hop Nutcracker (Disney+) and Disney’s Christmas Holiday Show (ABC Network).

Timothy McVeigh perpetrated the single deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history — the Oklahoma City bombing. Over days and nights, McVeigh eats, sleeps, watches the news, meets a girl… all while inside his mind brews an unthinkable plan that will forever change the collective American psyche. The film neither sensationalizes real life events nor gives into the quiet, devastating tension sustained from beginning to end.

Joe Pirro (W&M ’08) is Head of Production at Symbolic Exchange, a development and production company founded by producer/screenwriter James Schamus and based in New York City. Joe’s most recent film The Wedding Banquet premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. His other credits include Minhal Baig’s We Grown Now, Andrew Ahn’s Driveways, Kitty Green’s The Assistant, and Jean-Stephane Sauvaire’s A Prayer Before Dawn.
ABOUT MILAN CHAKRABORTY
Milan Chakraborty (W&M ‘00) is Head of Film at Marginal MediaWorks, overseeing all of the company’s efforts in independent, studio and streaming film. Milan worked at Warner Bros and New Line Cinema in production finance and accounting on projects including Batman Begins, Superman Returns, and V for Vendetta. He has produced and executive produced over 30 features, most recently Black Barbie: A Documentary and She Taught Love which were both nominated for NAACP Image Awards. Milan is teaching a 1 credit class this spring in the WM Film and Media Studies department.

Emir Kapetanović was born and grew up in Sarajevo, where he graduated directing at the Academy of Performing Arts. He is the author of socially engaged films, comedies, music videos, plays, and political cabarets, which have received domestic and international recognition. When Santa Was a Communist is his first feature film. He lives in Los Angeles, where he works as a director, screenwriter, and directing instructor. He is a member of the European Film Academy.

ABOUT THE PLAY
3 White Guys Named John is the story of how John Hughes, John Mayer and Jon Bon Jovi inspired Andrea, a southern Black woman, to go where she felt terrified to go thereby altering the course of her life. The music and movies of three white guys named John transcended race and lived experience to act as Divine messengers leading Andrea on the path of her destiny dropping lyrical and cinematic bread crumbs along the way. Without John, John and Jon she would not be where she is today.
